  • I recommend taking a level 1 class as these classes start from the very beginning, they are slow paced and you don’t need any experience.

    For Body & Soul there is a parking lot or street parking if it’s full.

  • Please arrive 10-15 minutes early.

  • For your first class, wear a sneaker that is comfortable for you. As you get more comfortable with the dance style, you may develop a personal preference for the type of sneaker. I would say that some people prefer something bouncy (Filas, Air Max 97s, etc.) while some like shoes that are flat (Fuegos, Nike Air Forces, Vans, Converse, etc.).

  • Pre-registration is recommended! If you are dropping into class, please arrive 15 minutes early so I can get you signed up.

  • Level 1 we practice and drill the basics and fundamentals. Level 2 we start to take those basics and learn how to transition in and out of them. Level 3 is harder steps but still to slower songs. Level 4 is simple steps but to faster songs. Level 5 is advanced combos. Please refer to the class descriptions & levels page at the top.

  • Yes - You can fill out a form under the private lessons page.

  • I recommend purchasing a package so that you have credits to use. Then when you cancel a class, your credit will be refunded back to your account to use on a different class.

IN PERSON CLASSES

SHUFFLE CARDIO ONLINE CLASSES

  • I would recommend learning your basics first. Once you are somewhat comfortable with Running Man, Diagonal Running Man, Charleston, T-Step, you will be good to go!

    • Shuffle Cardio is a fast-paced, follow-along workout designed to boost endurance and sweat.

    • Regular shuffle classes focus on technique, combos, and improving your shuffle skills.

  • 30 minutes

  • Yes, you get 12 credits when you sign up for the membership and you can use the credit either on the live class or the recording after class is over.

  • Yes! $15 drop-in.

  • From the website, go to class info - packages/memberships - make sure you are logged in - click your initials (top right) - then click my packages - from there you can hit the cancel button if you have an active membership.

  • We will be learning 2 8-count combos in Monday and Wednesday classes. They will be beginner combo focused. We will start with learning the actual moves and then will drill them. Friday we will put all 4 combos together and work on speed and endurance.

  • If you are on a membership you have unlimited access. If you are renting the recording you will have access for 48 hours.

  • We cool down on a yoga mat after class but other than that, just yourself, sneakers, and water!

  • Nope! It’s totally up to you. Some people like to have their cameras on for accountability and so I can see how everyone is doing, but it’s not required.

  • Yes! Classes are online and accessible worldwide.

  • If you are on the VIP membership you are automatically booked into all live classes.

GENERAL

  • Your first class is 50% off, you can purchase your credit under “packages and memberships”. Once you purchase the credit, redeem it on any class you would like.

  • Yes! Gift cards are available—DM us for details.

    • Practice outside of class at least a few times a week
